For the family of Peggy Phillips:
I can not even begin to imagine what you are going through!. Peggy was the most amazingly kind person I have known. She truly loved and cared about the welfare of others especially her family and the children she taught. When she left EC, she continued to involve my class with special projects she did with kindergarten. I will never forget her grace, soft spoken words and love for all. Her family was her heart. Many prayers...

Peggy was such a special person. She taught both of our sons at KES. She was always kind. We never saw her without a smile on her face. She always would pick flowers from her yard for us to use as centerpieces when we would host a Boy Scout Supper at church. We are so sorry for your loss. We are praying for peace that passes understanding.

I worked with Steve at Atlas-Stord many years ago. I always remember Peggy being so very personable and sweet. Her smile so genuine. From the video that was shared, she greatly loved her family. What a treasure and legacy she has left.
Trusting the Lord to offer His peace and comfort to each of you. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this most difficult time.
May the Lord bless and keep you, may His face shine upon you and give you His sweet peace.
Love,
Pamela and Michael Roop

Peggy was one of the most genuine and compassionate women I have ever known. She was such a blessing to everyone she ever met, from the students to her coworkers at Kernersville Elementary. My sympathy to her family. She will be greatly missed.

Though I only had the pleasure or working at Kernersville Elementary with Peggy for a brief time prior to her retirement, she was very dear to me as she was welcoming and kind. For those who have known and loved Peggy for many years, I offer my deepest sympathy, yet she remains a beautiful and kind soul who has passed now into the glory of the Lord.

To Peggy's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked side by side with Peggy for several years. I don't think that I could have made it that first year without her by my side. She went over and beyond for every student in our classroom. As mothers we shared our concerns and dreams for our children she loved you each very much. She was so talented making a Santa suit for our classroom Santa just one example. She was a great lady and this is a tragic loss.

To Steve Phillips and his children, Jodi, Craig, Katie, and Willie, and including Steve’s older children. There are very few beautiful, descriptive words that have not already been said about Peggy. She was ( and still is to me) the only person to exemplify the true nurturing of children. I had the pleasure of working with her at Kernersville E.S., watching her love and tenderly care for every child that came in contact with her. She was that same way with her fellow staff members too. I join you in missing her, however, the memory of Peggy will never fade away. God now has a spirit to carry on that gift of Peggy to nurture the children in Heaven. Love to all of you Peace be with you. Carol Donn

I am so disturbed by this and so sorry for Peggy’s family. I will always have good memories of Peggy. She was such a sweet and involved mom when I taught precious Katie in 5th grade. Demetri had her as a teacher in kindergarten w Mrs. Larson and Peggy made Demetris costume by hand for the school play. She was always thinking of others more than herself. I know she is embraced in Gods arms.
