Obituary of Samuel W Henderson

Samuel W. Henderson, 77, passed away October 15, 2019 in the comfort of him home. 

A celebration of life service will be at 11:00am Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service of Kernersville, NC. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service. 

Sam was born November 8, 1941 at home to the late Frank and Lois Henderson in Carney's Point, New Jersey.

Sam is predeceased by his son Mark; brother, Frank Jr.; and sisters, Emma and Pearl. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 58 years Priscilla; son Sam Jr. and fiancé Phyllis; daughter, Patti and husband Jim; grandchildren, Michelle and husband Brian, Sarah, Rachael, David Alexander, Timothy and Mark, and numerous extended family members and friends. 

Some of his favorite past times included reading, history, being involved in the Presbyterian Church, and spending time with his grandchildren. 

Sam was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was loved by many.
