Ivey was a wonderful man and a great supporter of NC effort to prevent child abuse through the SCAN Center in Forsyth County. He served on the first Board. He often would provide sage advice and was always a good ear. He brought his church in to help often with the efforts.
As president of the NC Exchange Clubs I would also like to recognize Ivey for his longterm leadership of the Kernersville Exchange Club and his energy to keep that club vital. He will be sincerely missed.
Ivey - Heaven is lucky to have you

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Redmon. I had the great pleasure of meeting him many years ago as his substitute mail lady. He was one of the finest men I know and gave so much to our town and it's people. Ivey helped shape Kernersville to what it is today, and as a born and raised resident of Kernersville, I will be eternally greatful. May God surround you with his peace, love and mercy during this time.
Retired mail carrier,
Donna Norris

Ivey was an inspiration to all that knew him. As a member of the Kernersville Exchange Club it was a pleasure to serve with him. Even in his 90's he still volunteered and chaired committees. In the past year we have missed him but his spirit and devotion remains with us. He was a member of the Exchange Club for 65 years and was known statewide as a great man. I am honored to have known him and served along side him. He was very proud to have served in the military . I thank God for men like Ivey Redmon

Tina and family,
I will miss Ivey. He was one of the best men I have ever met. He was always thinking of others. He appreciated all the awards he was always getting but he most appreciated giving back. I first met him when he was taking bikes and refurbishing them for kids that needed one. I most recently had the pleasure of working with him on the Ivey Redmon Project. He wanted to reach all students and let them know that they could make a good living with or without additional schoolimg after high school. He would say “we need those with trades and I want kids to meet business leaders that can show and tell these kids they don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a good paying job. College isn’t for everyone and I want them to have that opportunity and knowledge to succeed in life.” So thankful I had the privledge to know Ivey Redmon.
