Obituary of George "Lee" Goins

George “Lee” Goins, 51, died September 4, 2018 at the place he loved spending the most time, High Rock Lake.

A Celebration of Lee’s life will be held 1:00PM Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel with Pastor Ottis Hurst officiating the service. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his sister Lorie Lewis and his brother Greg Goins.

Lee was born on March 20, 1967 to George and Carolyn Goins in Forsyth County. Lee loved spending time with his friends and family and was a hard working employee of 30 faithful years with Trimark Foodcraft. He was the type of person who would give the shirt off his back when it came to anyone who needed a helping hand. His family was his prized possession. Anyone who knew him understood that his family was his passion. Lee was a master at grilling, and spent his free time taking his friends and family tubing on the boat at the lake.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents George and Carolyn; wife Diane; daughters Kimberly (Michael), Brandy (Ty), and Amanda; step- children Scotty, Johnny and Mellissa; Grandchildren Cayden, Chole, Karly, Luke, Nevaeh, Tyler, Natalie, Cierra, Skyler, Arielle, Alexis; brother John Goins and several extended friends and family.
