Obituary of Frances Scearce Griffin

Frances S. Griffin, 82, went home to be with her Lord September 6, 2018.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Sunday September 9, 2018 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel with Rev. Bobby Dishman officiating. Entombment will be in the Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Walkertown.

A native of Surry County, Frances was the daughter of the late Ollie Irene Scott and Isaac Matthew Scearce. She was married to the late Ted Nelson Griffin who died in December of 2017. In addition she also was preceded in death by her son Keith Griffin and her brother Aubrey Scearce.

She was a member of Parkview Church of God where she offered herself for visiting to the members and witness. She was retired from Levolar and had previously worked at Adams-Millis for a number of years. Her true love was her family, and she would celebrate all birthdays with her heartfelt love.

Survivors include her daughter Karin G. Tolbert and Michael of Winston-Salem; grandchildren Miranda Koester and Ben, Kris Griffin and Allyson of Archdale; great-grandchildren Matthew Koester and Abigail Koester; sisters Charlene Wyatt and Zerita Rumsey and Todd; and numerous extended family and friends.

The family will visit with friends immediately following the service.
