Obituary of Marian Edith Verriest

Marian E. Verriest, 85, passed away October 1, 2018.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 1:00PM Wednesday October 3, 2018 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.

The family will visit with friends from 11:00AM until time for the service on Wednesday.

A native of Bergen County, New Jersey, Marian was the daughter of the late Ida Edwards and Ernest Holmes. She graduated from Ramsey High School in Ramsey, NJ. A homemaker, she also was preceded in death by her husband Henry “Hank” McLean Verriest, and a brother Wesley Holmes.

Survivors include her sons Kenneth A. Verriest of Walnut Cove, NC, and Jeffrey Verriest and Joanne of Kernersville.
