Obituary of Jerry W. Weavil

Jerry W. Weavil, 77, went home to be with the Lord October 28, 2018.

Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 1:00PM Thursday November 1, 2018 at Union Cross Moravian Church with Rev. Russell Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Winston-Salem.

A native of Forsyth County, Jerry was the son of the late Kathleen Adams and Venton Weavil. He was retired from Roadway Trucking in Kernersville.

Survivors include  his loving wife of 57 years, Judy Smith Weavil of the home; daughter Julie Weavil Easter and Stan of Kernersville; son Jeff Weavil and Sherry of Belews Creek; grandchildren Ashley, Cody, Nick, Noah, and Nate; siblings Tammy, Joe, and Lisa; and numerous extended family and friends.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Wednesday at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home in Kernersville.
