I'll always remember Jon as a kind, gentle man who was well loved by his wife, children, and grandchildren. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'm holding you all in my heart.
Jon was a great man but most of all a Godly man loving and caring to everyone especially the downtrodden. He will never be forgotten. Our love to Rushie, Leslie, David and his grandchildren.
It was such a joy getting to know Jon and Rushie in our years at Wendover Hills. Our friendship grew, and Jon was just a treasure to be around. He had a memorable laugh! We watched him grow in his walk with Jesus. The thankfulness he shared over the change Christ made in his life was reflected in his desire to give back to others, with a deep passion for those who were "down and out". He was loyal and he was the real deal. We love his precious family. We will miss him so very much.
Jon was such an inspiration! He had the greatest servant heart, always made me laugh and was always willing to listen. He will be missed! I am praying for the peace that surpasses all understanding to envelop Rushie, David, Leslie, Mike and all of the grand kids. I thank God that He allowed me to have Jon as a friend!
We are so sorry for your loss, rest assured he is rejoicing with our Lord, and all the angels and Saints. Hugs going your way and prayers for peace for the whole family.
Rushie, David, Leslie, Mike, Matilda and Lucas - you are all in my thoughts and prayers continually. Jon was a unique gift to all who knew him. Admittedly not a perfect man, but perfectly redeemed. His friendship was a true gift to me and my family. I will miss him terribly but I am certain that we will meet again in heaven! My love to the family.
