A native of Galax, Virginia, Judy was the daughter of Ora Jane Roberts and the late Hassell Daily Roberts. In addition to her father, she also was preceded in death by her step-son, Ricky Boggs.
Judy has been involved over her years of life in many areas of community service, always giving and caring for others in so many ways. Judy was also very active in small business groups in Burlington, Greensboro and Kernersville (HIPPS, SHRM, TRLA, Rotary, GMA, Chamber of Commerce for Kernersville, Winston, Clemmons and also the BBB). Judy worked for many years in the telecommunications industry before finding her calling as a care provider for the elderly. Judy has been recognized as BBB Torch Award for Ethics - 2016 and Small Business Person of the Year for 2008 and 2016 from the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce.
