Obituary of Clara Farrington

Clara Farrington, 82, of Greensboro, NC passed away peacefully Sunday April 14, 2019.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 12:00PM Saturday April 20, 2019 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Donna Smith and Phyllis Dudley officiating. Interment will follow at Sandy Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery.

A native of Colfax, NC, Clara was the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison Farrington and Delia Frazier Farrington. She loved music of all kinds, especially Elvis and gospel music. Clara was a hard worker and of the Baptist Faith. She had heart of gold in which she show as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

Survivors include her daughter, Billie Renee Bertocci of Greensboro; grandchildren, Jonathan Wagstaff, Jason Wagstaff and wife, Angela, and Joshua Bertocci and companion, Samantha; great grandchildren, Jaden Wagstaff, Parker Wagstaff, Brooklyn Bertocci, and Jesse Bertocci; sister, Brenda Martin and husband, Charles; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her sisters, Lois Farrington, and Hettie Heslap; and brothers, George Farrington, and Charles Farrington.

The family will visit with friends prior to the service on Saturday from 11:00AM to 12:00PM.
