Obituary of Carolyn L. Goins

Carolyn L. Goins, 74, passed away peacefully Wednesday April 17, 2019.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be 11:00AM Monday April 22, 2019 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Chapel. The family will visit with friends prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00AM to 11:00AM.

A native of Loris, SC, Carolyn was the wife of George Matthew Goins and the daughter of the late Lindsey Alexander Hursey and Margie Lee Campbell Hursey.

Survivors include her husband, George of the home; son, John Goins of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Lorie Sweet and husband, Donald, Matthew Luck and wife, Crystal, David Luck, Brandy Hannah and husband, Ty, Kimberly Goins and Michael, Amanda Goins, Sandra Goins, Scotty Hutchins, Melissa, and Johnny; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Cook and husband, Larry, Pat Dunn and husband, Johnny, Faye Simmons; and brother, Thomas Hursey and wife Pauleen.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her daughter, Lorie Lewis; sons, Lee Goins, and Greg Goins; sisters, Linda Seagrave, Ruby Staley, Rachel Hursey, Ethel Mae Humphrey, and Betty Adams; and brother, Lindsey “Junior” Hursey, Jr.
