Obituary of Marian G. Derr

Marian G. Derr, 97, went home to be with her Lord July 11, 2019.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00AM Monday July 15, 2019 at Central Baptist Church in Oak Ridge, with Rev. Roy Carter and Rev. David Miller officiating.

The body will lie in state from 10:00AM Monday until time for the service and following the service while the family will visit with friends.

“G G” was the daughter of the late Agnes Bumbarger and Emmett Wood. She also was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Hastings Derr, Jr.; sister, Helen Lewis; and brothers, Robert Wood and Rev. William Wood.

Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Creider of Kernersville, and Beverly Steinebronn and Kurt of Florida; grandchildren James Creider, wife Terri; Vicki Booher, husband Tim; Stephanie Calcutt, husband Rob; Brad Steinebronn, wife Amy; Doug Creider, wife Amanda; Brandon Steinebronn, wife Misty; Holly Loulan, husband Michael; great-grandchildren Amy Creider; Emma Steinebronn, Trey Calcutt, Jake Steinebronn, Ryleigh Calcutt, JD Creider, Ben Steinebronn, Jacob Booher, Addison Steinebronn, Ellie Creider, Kate Steinebronn and Finnegan Loulan; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Central Baptist Church.
