Obituary of Benny Jordan

Benny Jordan, 80, passed away peacefully Thursday July 25, 2019.

Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 2:00PM Sunday July 28, 2019 at Deep River Friends Meeting with Pastor Scott Wagoner and Pastor John Sides officiating. Interment will follow in the Meeting House Cemetery.

A native of Guilford County, Benny was the husband of Barbara Smith Moore Jordan and the son of the late, Hubert Henley Jordan and Opal Ervaline Minerva Westmoreland Jordan.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara of the home; son, Darrin Ray Jordan of Deep River, NC; grandchildren, Carrie Jordan, Hannah Jordan, and Sarah Jordan; great grandchildren, Hunter Reynolds, and Mirakiah Reyes; step-son, Darren Moore and wife, Michelle of Apex, NC; step grandchildren, Catherine Moore, and Joshua Moore; brother, Larry Jordan and wife, Patsy of High Point, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Benny was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Brenda Frazier Jordan; son, David Jordan; and brother Colon Jordan.

The family will visit with friends from 4:00PM to 6:00PM Saturday July 27, 2019 at Deep River Friends Meeting Fellowship Hall, 5300 W. Wendover Ave., High Point, NC 27265.
