Wayne, a true inspiration and epitome of a man of faith, hope, love and compassion. During our Mom's illness and passing, Wayne was a great comfort and friend to our family. After our Mom's passing he regularly checked on everyone. Wayne visited our Mom at home, the hospital, and nursing care. Not only our mother, but countless others. I do not know how he found the time to do all that he did.
My thoughts and prayers to Waynes family and freinds

Oh Pastor Wayne, he was such a good man. He could make you laugh, cry, he was genuine. He would come by and spend time with my 85 year old mother, Beulah Trimboli, and they would laugh together and he would read God's word to her and talk with her. He and Pastor Pete baptized my mother and it was precious. He will truly be missed, but I know that mom and him will be talking once again. My sympathies to all the family. I truly send my love and compassion.

Wayne was such a wonderful friend to us. He was the brother Jerry never had. They became so close and were the best of friends. Wayne was there for us when we lost our parents. His support made their loss less difficult. I will never forget him being with me and my dad the day before he passed. He stayed with me several hours in the hospital praying with my dad and me. His prayers always left a calmness in the room. I'm sure my dad knew he was there. They were buddies. Wayne always visited my mom and dad at their home and the nursing home.
Wayne was a pleasure to be with. Always encouraging and uplifting. Jerry and I miss him. He was the most caring, God loving person. We were blessed to call him friend. We admired him for his dedication to God and his life-calling. He is with Jesus!
Beverly, we are praying for you, Jason and your family during your loss.

Wayne was such a kind, compassionate and caring person. He impacted my life in a positive manner in so many ways. It meant a great deal to me to have him be the one to perform my baptism. Later, when my husband passed and sequentially I went through an illness, he was a constant in my life calling and checking up on me and offering me support both spiritually and as a friend to help me get through those trials. I feel that he was an angel on this earth and he sure will be missed

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Wayne was so loved by our family. The day I put my Daddy's name in the offering plate, Wayne adopted all of us. He was faithful to always go visit Daddy and check in on me with prayers and wisdom. He stayed in touch right up till God took him home. I have never met such a Godly man. He will be missed by all who knew him. He touched so many lives. I want to thank you for sharing him with all of us. God bless you.

Wayne will be greatly missed. He touched so many lives on this earth and I know the angels now rejoice! Wayne touched our lives significantly. He was the first on the scene when my husband was diagnosed with colorectal cancer offering prayer and support. It was a long road for him and Wayne was there.
My prayers and support are with your family now as you mourn your loss...until you see him again!

Wayne has been a constant prayer warrior for my family for many years now. I remember one Sunday a few years back I was having some issues with my teenage son and I truly felt lost. I went down for the call to prayer and was greeted by Wayne. A big hug and a powerful prayer lifted the blackness I had felt hanging over me for months. I will never forget that moment. If anyone was ready for heavens glory, it was Wayne. He truly was a special man and I am so proud to call him my friend.

I'm so sorry to hear about Wayne. I worked with him in the WSFD for many years. Wayne was a tough Firefighter, Good Captain and Battalion Chief. I worked with him in all capacities. I thought a lot of Wayne, he taught me a lot when I worked with him and for him. We also had "several" laughs in our days in the Fire Station. RIP my Brother. Prayers to Jason and the rest of Wayne's Family.

I knew Wayne since 1980 when, as a PSO, I went through fire FTO at Station 4 on Duliegh Ave. I reconnected with him years later in Kernersville through a friend. Wayne was a prince amount men and exhibited the love of Christ always. He is certainly with our Lord right now. What a blessing he was to all who knew him.

I met Wayne at FCC. He is one of those few people who ALWAYS had a smile and a listening ear for EVERYONE he met! He was a genuine man of God and the area around him was ALWAYS better because he was in it. He brought with him a great sense of peace - unless he was on a mission to talk with me about something I needed to do differently! He ALWAYS spoke instruction and guidance in love. A remarkable human being that did the world a world of good while he was here. Well done, good and faithful servant! May the fish always be biting. May the cows always be in the pasture under your watchful eye. And, may the banquet have ALL of the things you love!
Until we meet up yonder,
Missy
