Obituary of Elnora Kirkman Rhodes

Elnora Kirkman Rhodes, 82, passed away October 7, 2019 at the Hinkle Hospice Home of Davidson County, NC.

Graveside funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Stoneville Municipal Cemetery, Hopper Rd., Stoneville, NC 27048.

Elnora was born October 16, 1936 in Eden, NC to the late Myrtle White and Paul Kirkman.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Sanford Joseph “Buck” Rhodes and brother, James D. Kirkman.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Rhodes Jones and husband Robert; granddaughter, Kimberly Jones Alicea and husband Melvin; great-grandchildren, Michael and Elizabeth Alicea.

Elnora retired from Fieldcrest-Cannon following over 30 years of service. She enjoyed painting and traveling. She was a loving mother and grandmother and truly enjoyed spending time with family.
