My heartfelt sympathies Linda and family. Bernard was the kind of man where a handshake was his word, always smiling with a good word to say. He will be missed by many. Rest high on that mountain.

Bernard was my ex-brother in-law....but to me he was so much more....Since I moved back to the home place in 1999, him, Linda and I have been close neighbors. Linda has been a good wife to him— taking care of him while he was sick so many times, cooking great meals (whatever he wanted) for him, and their home was always spotless !!
I remember the good times I had with him...(Knowing someone for almost 60 years of your life doesn’t mean all memories are good) I Me and him was really close from 1999 until he left us...I only have sweet memories of him to keep in my heart ❤️ stored away..He could raise some of the best watermelons in the neighborhood and don’t think I didn’t get get my share of them plus some of the other veggies he raised with Linda’s help..Both of them made sure I got my share !! God Bless both of them— which he already has —By taking him “home” to be with him...I know I am surely going to miss him so much!! He’s always been just a piece up the road from—me but not anymore. To say my heart’s not broken would be a lie....but I think God he’s not suffering anymore and is in his Eternal Home . I love you, ❤️ Bernard. Love, Nancy

Norris was such a nice and smart man. He could do alot of things. I have a very nice book shelf that he made me, and I remember him putting a roof on my mama and daddy house that seem like it lasted forever. Praying for God's comfort for the family. Love, Tammy and family

Norris was my brother-n-law and he was a good man. Norris was good to my sister Linda, her family and he loved his
mother-n-law Dot Godwin. He worked hard all his life and would help anyone out if he could. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and especially his wife. The Lord met Norris with arms open and said welcome home my faithful servant and son. Norris no longer in sickness or pain, and his body is all healed now due to our God the Father. Prayers for Linda and her family.
