Our prayers and thoughts are with Chris and his family . Chris, tho times have passed so quickly memories shared with Jane and Phil will never be forgotten, I pray the Lord gives you peace and strength during this time and you Mandy and your 2 daughters always keep your memories close in your hearts. You are a special young man and I know you were the pride and joy to both your mom and dad . You now have your own two precious daughters to guide, protect and make your own memories.
With Love and prayers
Ava

Our hearts are hurting since hearing of Phil's passing, and our thoughts and love go out to Chris and family. Our memories of Phil over the years are many, and include his bright smile and warm heart. Phil loved his family and was so very proud of Chris and the man he has become with the values instilled by Phil and Jane. Phil's legacy lives on. We miss him already.

I met Phil when I worked for Baptist Homes some 40 years ago. He was an electrician at the time and taught me a lot when he was called over. A good friend, always kind words, and I will miss seeing him at Spring Folly. Phil always came by my booth to share a good story or just to catch up. Rest In Peace my friend. Sending prayers to the family. Gene Crews

I went to Walkertown Jr High and East Forsyth with Philip. He was 2 years ahead of me but was always so friendly and nice and always had a smile. He was the nicest and cutest young man. I didn’t see him again for many years later, and he was just as nice and friendly as school days. Always a smile and a kind word. Rest In Peace my friend. Love you
