Obituary of Myrna Jean Kinsey

Myrna Jean Kinsey, 86, went to her Heavenly home December 20, 2020.

Graveside Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, December 26. 2020 at Lakeview Memorial Park with just her family in attendance. A time of "walk through" visiting with friends and family will be held from 9:30AM until 10:30AM Saturday December 26, 2020 at the Pierce-Jefferson Lambeth Chapel Funeral Home. A Celebration of her life will be held at a date to be announced.

A native of Randolph County, Myrna Jean was the daughter of the late Ila Hancock and Lacy Arthur Davis. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her first husband, Eddie Brown and her second husband, Donald Kinsey; daughter, Sheila Brown; sister, Elaine Ragsdale; brothers, Ralph Davis and Tommy Davis; and step-mother, Ruth Davis.

She will always be fondly remembered by her working at the former Jeanie Bee, Apple House, and Toddle House restaurants. She also worked at the grill at Bel Aire Golf Course and Herbies.

Survivors include her daughters, Janice Brown of Greensboro, Debbie Tunnell and Hal of Browns Summit, and Dianne Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC; sons, Charles Brown and Pattie of Reidsville, and Billy Brown and Sue of Greensboro; grandchildren, Eva Brown, Tiffany Brown, Jesse Brown, Freddie Brown, and Jonathan Brown; great-grandchildren who always referred her as "Little Grandma", Daphne Brown and Easton Marler; sister, Delores Miller and Johnny; and a host of extended family and friends.
