Obituary of Ron Hefner

Ronald “Ron” Wayne Hefner, 74, died December 21, 2020.

Family Graveside Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held 1:00PM Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Lakeview Memorial Park.

A lifelong resident of Guilford County, Ron was the son of the late Julia Brookbank Hefner and Thomas Aaron Hefner. He was retired from BellSouth after 35 years of service. He was always proud that he served his country with the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion and New Garden Moose Lodge.

In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Hefner of McLeansville and his sister, Belinda Hefner of Greensboro.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Ann Williams Hefner of the home; son, Richard Hefner and partner Valerie Walker of Greensboro; daughter, Carol Hefner Costigan and Todd of Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren include Cassidy, Colton and Skylar Hefner of Bethany and Macy Costigan of Fort Myers
