Obituary of Janette Morrison Honeycutt

Janette Morrison Honeycutt, 82 of Kernersville passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 3:00PM Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Travis Moses officiating.

A native of Washington County, VA, Janette was the wife of the late Jerry Honeycutt and the daughter of the late Clyde Morrison and Ella Mae Widener Morrison.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Cox and husband, Bill of Yadkinville; sons, James Smith and wife, Wendy of Kernersville, NC, and Tompall Smith of Hamptonville, NC; grandchildren, John Chilton and wife, Tabitha, Daniel Chilton, Mickey Smith, Lorin Willard, and Erica Lippard; numerous great grandchildren; and siblings, Polly Warren, Bernice Leonard, Thelma Pemberton, and Junior Morrison.

In addition to her husband and parents, Janette was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Morrison, Kenneth Morrison, and James Morrison; and sisters, Mary Elizabeth Morrison, Hazel Kesler, and Lorene Freeman.
