Obituary of Irene P. Waller

Irene P. Waller, 83, joined her family in heaven on February 16, 2021.

Graveside Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held 4:00PM Sunday February 21, 2021 at Mineola United Methodist Church Cemetery in Mineola, Alabama. The family will visit with friends from 1:00PM until 3:00PM Sunday at the Atmore Memorial Chapel in Atmore, Alabama.

A native of Poarch, Alabama, Irene was the daughter of the late Constance Cole Lambert Parker and Rogers Milton Parker. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by sister, Dorothy Parker Croft; brothers, William “Bill” Parker, Gene Parker, and Bobby Joe Parker.

She was graduated from Taylor County High School in Perry, Florida. She moved to Alabama following High School to live with her Aunt. She would have a long and successful career in real estate, building contractor, and sales.

She was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan, but her family was her world always.

Survivors include her daughters, Charisse Mantzanas Dotson and husband Bill of Kernersville, NC, and Mary Mantzanas of Woodstock, GA; son, Patrick Waller and wife Christie of Spanish Fort, AL; grandchildren, Dakota Mantzanas, Parker Dotson, Callie Waller, and Lad Waller; special “daughter”, Patricia Furr and husband Michael and their children, Michelle Harrigan and husband Patrick, Andy Furr and wife Holly, and Jessica Furr Parker; and a host of extended family and friends.
