Obituary of Jeffrey Lee Venable, Sr.

Jeffrey Lee Venable, Sr., 61, of Walkertown, NC passed away Friday, March 5, 2021.

Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00AM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery, Kernersville, NC. The family will greet friends with a walk-through visitation from 10:00AM to 11:00AM Saturday at the funeral home.

A native of Walkertown, NC, Jeffrey was the son of the late Wade H. Joyce and Dorothy Dean Venable. He was a 1979 graduate of East Forsyth High School. Jeffrey was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was of the Baptist Faith and was an ordained Baptist minister where he formed J. Rock Ministry, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ through motorcycle ministry anywhere, anytime, and anyplace. Jeffrey was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and devoted friend. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Wade Venable and wife, Elizabeth of Burlington, NC, and Jeffrey Lee Venable, Jr. and wife, Kathleen of Snow Camp, NC; ten grandchildren, Chyann, Michael, Chloe, Elijah, Angelina, Korinne, Katheryn, Kamden, Kolton, and Patrick; one great granddaughter, Lily Mae; brothers, Rickie Venable and wife, Paula of Winston-Salem, NC, Randall Landreth of Winston-Salem, NC, and Billy Ray Venable and wife, Pam of Kernersville, NC; sisters, Lisa Prater of King, NC, and Angela Johnson and husband, Kendall of Germanton, NC, and Vickie Hodroff of Charlotte, NC ; nieces and nephews, Christopher and wife, Ashley, Amanda, Kayla, Kimberly, Amber, Timothy, Zachary and wife, Tiffany, Max and husband, Joey, Billy and wife, Jessica, Kira, Faith, Steven and wife, Jasmine, Alora and husband, Josh,  Cindy Wilson and husband, Rick, Frank Marti, and Victoria Marti; numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his three beloved Yorkies, LB, Little Bit, Little Man.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael Dean Venable, Timothy Wade Venable, and Steven Wayne Venable.
