Obituary of Michael Sutton

Michael “Mike” Sutton, 79, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and Christian. Mike served in the Air Force as an Airman First Class. He retired from AT&T as a Communications Technician. 

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Sutton. He is survived by his two children: David Sutton and Daniel Sutton. He is also survived by his two brothers, Ken Sutton and Brent Sutton and two sisters, Peggy Bonner and Linda Kelly, as well as two grandchildren, Kristen Sutton and Sean Sutton. His family is prideful that they will continue his family name and legacy of the Sutton’s. His loved ones find great peace in knowing that he is reunited with his wife, Mary Ann, who he loved immensely and unconditionally.  

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 26th at Guilford Memorial to celebrate Michael Sutton’s life. Mark Shelley of Shannon Hill’s Bible Chapel will officiate. Flowers and condolences will be graciously accepted by the family.
