Obituary of Russell Monroe Coble

Russell Monroe Coble, 95, of Greensboro passed away on March 19, 2023 at his residence in Greensboro.  A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Thomas and Clara (Pike) Coble and husband of Merle Coble for 73 loving years.

In addition to his wife, Russell is survived by his daughter, Jayne Ritter (Hal); son, Christopher Coble; grandchildren, Jonathan Ritter, Kailee Coble, and Shanna Coble; and brother, Franklin Coble.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Coble Jr., Harry Coble, Garland Coble (Nancy survived), and Aubrey Coble (Lily survived).

Graveside services will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 22 at Westminster Gardens Cemetery with Michael Barrett officiating. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to AuthoraCare Collective, Baptist Children's Home, or SPCA of the Triad.
