Obituary of Susan Hodges Lambly

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Hodges Lambly, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Susan peacefully left this world on February 16, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on September 4, 1954, Susan led a life filled with compassion, kindness, and a deep love for her family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Jennifer Solomon, and her son-in-law, Joey Solomon and her fur babies, Toby and Roscoe. Susan's legacy continues through the lives of her three cherished grandchildren, Meagan Joyce, Gracie Solomon, and Joseph Solomon. Additionally, her warmth and love extend to three great-grandchildren, creating a lasting impact on future generations.

Susan found joy in the simple moments of life, cherishing every milestone and celebration with her family. Her presence brought comfort and laughter to those around her, creating a home filled with love and warmth.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and sisters. Her journey through life was marked by both triumphs and tribulations, and she faced each with courage and resilience. In 2021, she experienced the loss of her beloved husband, Barry Lambly, whose memory she carried with her throughout the years.

As we bid farewell to Susan, let us remember the love and laughter she shared, the wisdom she imparted, and the strength she demonstrated in the face of adversity. Her legacy lives on through the family she leaves behind, and the memories of her will forever be etched in our hearts.

The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Lambeth Chapel in Greensboro on March 2, 2024 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of your choice in Susan's honor.

May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with loved ones who preceded her in death
