Obituary of Robert Lewis Moore

Robert Lewis Moore, 60, died Friday May 29, 2015 in Guilford County. Robert was born September 13, 1954 in Guilford County to Joseph Pete and Sarah Emma Walters Moore. God took a strong man to heaven when Robert died. There will be a graveside service 2 p.m. on Tuesday June 2, 2015 at Lakeview Memorial Park with Pastor Randy Pearman officiating. Robert was in the Army from 1975 - 1977. He retired from Piedmont Natural Gas after 25 years. His hobbies were fishing, softball, taxidermy, and hunting. He was hard working man and would do anything he could for anyone. He never met a stranger. He is enjoying heaven fishing with his loving mother and dad. The family is a very close and tight family and Robert was a loving father and husband. He will be greatly missed. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Sneed Moore; three daughters, April B. Jones, Angie Moore, Christine Moore; two grandchildren, Larissa and Austin Bailey; and a sister, Sarah Jo Gray. The family will receive friends from 7 - 9:00 p.m. Monday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
