Obituary of Christopher Douglas RivenBark

Christopher "Chris" Douglas Rivenbark, 20, died on February 15, 2015. Chris was born December 13, 1994 in Greensboro to Larry D. and Traci Slate Rivenbark. There will be a memorial service 1 p.m. Friday, February 20 at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church with Reverend Pat Cronan officiating. Chris graduated in 2013 from the Weaver Academy in Greensboro. While in the academy he was a two time Skills USA Award Winner. He was well known and respected in the NC Scenario Paintball Community. He was also very active in the Make-A-Wish Organization. Chris is survived by his parents; a son, Jaxson Douglas Rivenbark; a sister, Amanda Rivenbark; grandparents, Archie and Wilma Slate and Jim and Martha Rivenbark. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations in Chris' honor be made to Make-A-Wish, 1131 Harding Place, Charlotte, NC 28204 or nc.wish.org.
