Obituary of Charles Caudle

Kernersville- Charles Junior “Charlie” Caudle, died Friday October 7, 2011 at Kernersville Medical Center after a short illness. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 3:00PM Sunday October 9, 2011 at Kernersville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Charles Arnold, and Rev. Tim Nelson officiating. A graveside service will be held Monday October 10, 2011 at 2:00PM at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. A native of Russell County Virginia, he was the son of the late Loraine Ball Caudle and Robert Edward Lee Caudle. He served in the United States Army for over 11 years. He worked as a painter for the S&L Paint Company for many years. He enjoyed fixing up and working with old cars. Charlie was a member of Kernersville Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was active in the Men’s Fellowship Group. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Ralph Cordle. Survivors include his wife Doris Madison Caudle of Kernersville; son Robert Caudle; sisters Catherine Caudle of Baltimore Maryland, and Audrey Hiatt of Mt. Airy; brother Robert Allen Cordle of Westminister Maryland; nieces and nephews Eric, Lori, Sara, Fawn, Faith, Edward, and Carolyn. The family will visit with friends from 2:00PM until the time of the service at the church.
