Obituary of James Burnette

Winston-Salem-James Michael Burnette, 61, passed away February 15, 2015. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held 4:00PM Sunday April 12, 2015 at The Jefferson House located next to Pierce Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Service. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service. A native of Forsyth County, “Mickey” was the son of the late Violet Rebecca Burns and John Harold Simmons. He served his Country with the United States Army. He had been employed with Quality Glass Service. He is survived by his sister Patricia Davis of High Point, and a host of extended family and friends. He loved fishing, animals, and never met a stranger. He would enjoy conversations and spending time with those he cared about. Service Information
