I had the wonderful pleasure of working alongside Mr. Bill at Harris Teeter. He had such a lively spirit and was always willing to help. Thank you for always being an inspiration and having the caring heart I one day hope to have. You have made such an impact in my life and I will never forget you. I will miss seeing you every morning, smiling from ear to ear but I know you are still smiling and are safe at home now with your savior.

"Tex" as I called him, was a very honest man. If you wanted to know what he thought about something all you had to do was ask him. Sometimes he'd tell you before you asked him. Two life events I remember fondly. One involved a rather large stuffed dog I won at the fair and left siting on a sofa along the path from his bedroom to the bathroom. I think he and that dog had a long stare-down at some point during that night. The second involved an oversized Christmas tree we put up in his living room. Again, sometime during the night, their little dog may have caused the tree to fall over covering the room in fraser fur limbs. "Tex" waking up from his nap on the sofa nearby thought he was in the woods. Then he proceeded to haul the tree out of the living room into the yard. Their dog, escaped and led to Tex chasing the little critter up and down Nelson St. in his pajamas. One more thing, his hair was perfect.
I know the family will miss him but he is in a far better place waiting for us. God's Blessings to you all!
